The event entrance will be on the west side of Miraflores\, near the Dionicio Rodriguez Faux Bois Bridge. To get to the valet\, you will enter the park from Tuleta Dr. off Broadway. DESCRIPTION:The 10th Annual Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Festival will be held on Saturday\, October 18th from 9am to 2pm at Brackenridge Park right next to the Zoo entrance! \nTag monarch butterflies and transform into a pollinator for the day as you immerse yourself in an educational playland to celebrate the monarch butterfly\, pollinators\, and the ecosystems that sustain both them and us. Over 40 educational partners will provide hands-on\, nature-based experiences for children and adults to over 10\,000 attendees. \nAbout the Festival \nThe mission of the Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Festival is to celebrate and educate our community about the monarch butterfly\, pollinators\, and the ecosystems that sustain both them and us. The festival inspires children and “grown-up kids” of all ages to engage and connect with the natural world around them by immersing themselves in an educational playland that cultivates compassion and sparks behavioral change. \nThis community endeavor is held in partnership with Blooming with Birdie and Project Bloom\, and supports the Mayor’s Monarch Pledge and the city of San Antonio as a Monarch Champion City.

More than 600 channel catfish will be released in the San Antonio River for junior anglers\, their parents\, and avid fishermen to enjoy. Poles and lessons will be provided.
