DESCRIPTION:A brand-new destination running experience\, the San Antonio Marathon is crafted to celebrate the spirit and heritage of San Antonio—where every step tells a story. Rooted in the vibrant culture and community\, this world-class event is brought to life through a collaboration between San Antonio Sports\, the City of San Antonio\, Visit San Antonio\, Centro\, and Olympic gold medalist-turned-marathon champion Meb Keflezighi. \nJoin the Brackenridge Park Conservancy on Sunday\, December 7th at our office at 2611 Broadway as we manage Water Station #6 for the first ever San Antonio Marathon! Volunteers will choose between 2 shifts (5am-8am and 7am-11am) to help set up the water station and prepare the water\, and then hand out water and electrolytes to runners as they pass by! This guided walking tour\, led by Theresa Scheets\, owner of T’s Tours\, covers approximately one mile\, highlighting some of Brackenridge Park’s most historic and scenic landmarks. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated along the way. \nWe’ll meet at the Brackenridge Park Conservancy Office\, 531 Brackenridge Way\, San Antonio\, TX. DESCRIPTION:Join the Brackenridge Park Conservancy and River Aid San Antonio for a river cleanup and scavenger hunt!\n\n\n\nJoin us for our last volunteer event of 2025\, and BPC’s first ever open to the public kayak cleanup.
