DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: BASURA BASH HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER CONCERNS \nPlease visit our updated event page here for more information! \n \nBrackenridge Park Conservancy is proud to once again participate in the 31st Annual Basura Bash\, hosted by River Aid San Antonio. \nThis year’s cleanup will take place on Saturday\, March 7\, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM\, with volunteer check-in and registration in front of the Joske Pavilion (531 Brackenridge Way) from 8:30–9:00 AM. \nAll cleanup supplies—including gloves\, trash grabbers\, and trash bags—will be provided. Volunteers will help clean the San Antonio River from Hildebrand Avenue to Mulberry Avenue. \nFor safety\, please wear closed-toe shoes (no shorts or sandals). Long-sleeve shirts are recommended. DESCRIPTION:Fitness in the Park: Pilates is a new addition to our 2026 fitness lineup! In partnership with San Antonio Sports – Activate\, this beginner-friendly Pilates class will be held every Wednesday evening from 5:30–6:30 PM at the Joske Pavilion. \nLed by instructor Danielle DeCotis-Holmes\, this class focuses on core strength\, flexibility\, and mindful movement in a welcoming\, supportive environment\, perfect for those new to Pilates or looking for a low-impact workout. SUMMARY:Volunteer Day - Park Trails Litter Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a park trails litter cleanup in Brackenridge Park on Sunday\, March 29th to help maintain a healthy environment for people\, plants\, and wildlife! We will be meeting on Red Oak Rd. in the picnic area shown below. Our focus will be litter cleanup on the walking trails and along the river. Parking is available nearby within the park. All materials will be provided (gloves\, trash bags\, and litter grabbers).
