Brackenridge Park Conservancy has a small but mighty staff dedicated to preserving and enhancing the park. We are guided by an all-volunteer board and work closely with local stakeholders and citizens.

The Brackenridge Park Conservancy is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and Advisory Board. The Conservancy operates under a management agreement with the City of San Antonio and the Parks and Recreation Department.
Brackenridge Park is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Texas State Antiquities Landmark.

Chris Maitre is the Chief Executive Officer of the Brackenridge Park Conservancy. In this role, he leads the conservancy in raising funds to preserve and enhance the 125-year-old park’s natural, historic, educational and recreational resources for current and future generations.
