Brackenridge Park Conservancy has a small but mighty staff dedicated to preserving and enhancing the park. We are guided by an all-volunteer board and work closely with local stakeholders and citizens.

Chris Maitre

Chief Executive Officer

Chris Maitre became the Chief Executive Officer for Brackenridge Park in 2024, quickly working to expand programming in the park, embark on restoration projects, and grow staff.

He brings more than 29 years of nonprofit experience, including 26 years in higher education at Tulane University. Most recently, he was COO of City Park Conservancy in New Orleans, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the 1,300-acre urban park.

Lynn Osborne Bobbitt

Director of Development

Lynn Osborne Bobbitt is Director of Development and Community Outreach, having served as the Executive Director from 2015-2021.

Bobbitt has worked for more than 40 years in the nonprofit San Antonio community as a fundraiser, event organizer, and grant writer. She is a native of San Antonio and graduate of University of Texas in Austin.

Krys Turner

Office Manager

Krys’s passion is working with people, playing with numbers, and organizing things. As Office Manager and Bookkeeper, Krys is fulfilling her passion.She managed major account operations and worldwide customer service in the computer field for 33 years before retiring and partnering with her sister in 5 Broads Off Broadway, a furniture store.

Britta Ramirez

Director of Events & Programs
As the Director of Events & Programming, Britta creates park events and programs for all ages, interests, and abilities–ultimately increasing park visitation. She is a dedicated and results-driven event specialist with a keen eye for detail and a history of creating unforgettable moments.

Erin Quintanilla

Volunteer Coordinator
Erin coordinates the Conservancy’s volunteer program to restore, maintain, and preserve the park’s health and beauty. Erin has volunteer and coordination experience with Girl Scouts of Southwest TX, North Central Baptist Hospital, San Antonio Pets Alive, and the SA Food Bank & Diaper Bank.

Dora Ann Verde

CPA

Dora Ann Verde has served as the Contracted Chief Financial Officer for the Conservancy since 2015. She assists the Executive Director and the Board to ensure that the Conservancy conducts its’ financial activities in compliance with the requirements of its status as a 501(c) 3 nonprofit corporation and complies with federal, state and local regulations. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor and a former partner in a local public accounting firm.

Morgan Begley

Grants and Development Coordinator

As the Grants and Development Coordinator, Morgan supports the Conservancy’s mission by securing funding through grants and donor engagement. She brings experience writing grants and raising funds for local San Antonio nonprofits, along with a strong belief in the power of community support. She recently earned her degree in Sociology from Trinity University.
