Board News

The Conservancy is pleased to welcome two new board members—Joe Calvert and Suzanne Mathews. Joe has over thirty years of experience in the real estate and investment business. He is the great-grandson of Ludwig Mahncke, the city’s first Parks Commissioner and close friend of Brackenridge. Suzanne is a director of Lucifer Lighting Company and has an avid interest in gardens.

We also thank Sister Yolanda Tarango of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word and Janet Dietel of the San Antonio Conservation Society for their service as Conservancy board members.
