At Brackenridge Park, fishing is a beloved pastime all year long! Twice a year, on the Brackenridge Park Conservancy’s free Family Fishing Days, the river is restocked with fish. Fishing on those days does not require a license, but for any other day, the city does require one. You can find more information on those requirements here.
