Brackenridge Park Conservancy invites San Antonio residents of all ages to participate in the second community input workshop for a proposed Brackenridge Park Nature Playscape project.

There are two sessions. One at 4 p.m. and one at 6 p.m.

Initial design concepts will be shared to attain feedback and ensure the playscape meets the needs of people visiting the park. Engaging activities for children will be offered to ensure families can actively participate together. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.

This is the first project initiated from the recently approved 2024 Brackenridge Park Reconciliation Project that helped define a set of guiding principles and project criteria for new park projects. The proposed Brackenridge Park Nature Playscape Project aims to introduce interactive, nature-based, and inclusive design elements. The playscape would also include sustainable and durable equipment, engaging thematic features, and universally accessible play areas to foster environmental stewardship and a sense of community. The community input session is part of Brackenridge Park Conservancy’s commitment to providing vibrant, sustainable spaces that serve the diverse needs of San Antonio’s families and communities.
