
Join the Professional Tour Guide Association of San Antonio and the Brackenridge Park Conservancy for a special free Historic Tour of Brackenridge Park as part of the Preservation Month celebration hosted by the Office of Historic Preservation. The tour will be held on May 19 and covers approximately one mile and highlights some of the park’s most historic and scenic landmarks while sharing the rich history and stories that make Brackenridge Park so special. Led by Scott Anderson, a certified professional tour guide and current Board Member of the San Antonio Guild of Professional Tour Guides (SA Guild). He and his wife, Janet, own San Antonio Food Experiences which offers food tours, walking tours and other great experiences.
Guests should wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated along the way. The tour will meet at the Brackenridge Park Conservancy Office, 531 Brackenridge Way, San Antonio, TX. Please plan to arrive between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. so the tour can begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.
