Brackenridge Park Historic Tour

Brackenridge Park Conservancy is excited to partner with the Professional Tour Guide Association of San Antonio to bring you a fascinating look at the park’s rich history. This guided walking tour, led by Theresa Scheets, owner of T’s Tours, covers approximately one mile, highlighting some of Brackenridge Park’s most historic and scenic landmarks. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated along the way.

We’ll meet at the Brackenridge Park Conservancy Office, 531 Brackenridge Way, San Antonio, TX. Please plan to arrive between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. so the tour can begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Brack Bash

We invite you to join us to celebrate all things Brackenridge Park at the 2nd Annual Brack Bash! This years event will be held at the historic Sunken Garden Theater on Saturday, November 15, 12pm – 4pm. This is a free, family friendly event. Come out, bring a picnic blanket, and enjoy an afternoon surrounded by friends, family, and the beauty of Brackenridge Park. 

Highlights include:

  • Los Viejitos car club (vintage car show) 
  • Face painting and chalk art 
  • Petting zoo 
  • Food trucks for a variety of tasty bites

 

Music lineup:

  • 12–1 p.m.: Dirty River Jazz Band
  • 1:30–2:30 p.m.: Jed Craddock Band
  • 3–4 p.m.: DJ A-Rod

Perfect for families, history lovers, and anyone who treasures this city landmark, Brack Bash celebrates the park’s lasting role in the community with live music, engaging activities, and entertainment for children and adults alike.
